Who are we?

     We are Jon & Lev Ott.  We have been married and working together since 1999. We are raising our family in Reed Point, Montana- where we grew up. We are the parents to 4 children, Jocelyn (23), Trent (21), Tyson (21) and Bodie (16).  It was important for us to give our kids a rural upbringing, with a good sense of community. We are both actively involved members of our children's school, and the Reed Point community.   We have been very fortunate to have spent our entire married years farming, and raising Hereford cattle, and our kids on the ranch that Jon’s grandparents purchased back in 1959. We have also co-owned a construction company for the last 22 years, and are excited to take on a company of our own.

History of Fahn's Asphalt Inc- 

     Fahn's Asphalt was founded in 1984 by Larry Fahn. Larry had spent the previous decade honing the art of asphalt paving while employed by Empire Sand and Gravel.Throughout the years, Larry made friends with many of his customers and employees- which is how we came into his life.  In 2005, Jon started hauling asphalt for Larry at Fahn’s Asphalt. They became fast-friends. Over years of working together- Jon was fortunate to learn all of the aspects of doing a quality pavement job, from Larry. Larry proudly owned and operated the company until his untimely passing in February of 2021.  We purchased the business from his estate late in the summer of 2021. We are very proud to honor Larry Fahn’s memory, and his name- by continuing to grow the business that was founded by him- our very good friend.  We are also excited to have the opportunity to involve our kids in the work- as they have watched their dad, and Larry do a lot of paving together. We look forward to continuing to provide Billings and south-central Montana with an honest, trustworthy and quality paving and seal-coating business
